Higher quality mods would require higher quality custom assets and a better writing, two characteristics that are hard to find outside of a smaller group of modders, so that means that the others would have to "borrow" from other sources, but at that point can they still capitalize? In all seriousness, if all modders had extremely good skills or could organize themselves in strong, cohesive and skilled team this would seem like a good idea for them to capitalize on their hobby, especially when their quality surpasses that of the vanilla game.īut, we all know that is not the case, it's rare to find that quality, so I don't think there would even be a reason to pay for lower quality "DLCs", just wait for the moment in which the workshops shall be filled to the brim with low quality mods all ranging from 5 $ to 15$. I could make a quick buck then, this seems like the perfect chance to make a huge lump of money, yes just like that, I mean, I could make a great city and then sell it, sell it with a small questline for 5.99 $, that couldn't fail.
